How much does a rental cost?
All base prices for RV rentals can be found on our web site. Select the season during which you would like to rent and the desired vehicle and we can provide a quick quote with all costs and taxes.

Is there a minimum amount of time that we have to rent?
Our minimum rental is 3 nights.

What kind of gas mileage will we get?
Mileage depends on the size of the motorhome and the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between 7 and 10 miles per gallon.

Do I need a special driver's license to drive a motorhome?
All you need is to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.

When can I pick up the motorhome?
Vehicles can be picked up during our operating hours.

Is it difficult to drive a motorhome?
Motorhomes handle much like a car, especially the "C" class units which have a van chassis.

Are motorhomes difficult to hook up?
No. At departure you will be given a familiarization tour and learn how to hook it up and operate the appliances.

Are there rollout awnings on the motorhome?
Yes

Are pets allowed in the motorhomes?
Yes, with a deposit.

Can we smoke in the motorhome?
We request not to smoke in the unit.

Can we travel one way to our destination or do we have to travel round trip?
You must travel round trip.

How much does it cost to stay in campgrounds?
Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Generally you can expect to pay between $10 and $50 per night.

What kind of facilities might a campground offer?
A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store.

Are there any places we cannot take the motorhome?
Yes. You may not travel into Mexico. Also, Death Valley and other desert areas are not allowed during the hot months. Vehicles are not allowed on logging or other non-public roads such as the Apache Trail in Arizona.

What if I return the vehicle before the date it is due?
No refunds will be made for early returns, late pick-ups or unused miles.

Is it safe to drink the water from the motorhome tank?
No, we do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when you fill the tank at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.

What if I am involved in an accident?
You must notify Great Escape RV within 24 hours of an accident and make a full report in writing as well as file a police report.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations 30 (thirty) days prior to start date there is a $50.00 fee.  The deposit will be retained for 1 (one) year of the start date for cancellations less than 30 (thirty) days prior to start date.  The Security Deposit is forfeited for all cancellations 14 (fourteen) days or less from start date.  All cancellations will be confirmed in writing by email or fax, within 24 (twenty-four) hours upon receipt.  Make sure you receive conformation to insure cancellation has been made.

Should we bring pots, pans and linens?
Generally our units do not have cooking utensils, linens, or towels.  However we do have a complete list of add on accessories that have those items available if needed.  Just ask our Representative.

When can I pick up my vehicle?
We request the client to make an appointment with us for the time to pick up his/her RV; we request the client to allow for approximately one to one and a half hour for check out of the RV.

Are there any restrictions on where I can go?
Mexico

Is mileage included in the rental cost?
100 free miles per day or 1000 free for a week rental.  Per mile charges apply after that.

What deposits are required?
$500.00 is required at booking.  Full rental charges due on pickup.  Deposit held as damage deposit.

Is there a charge for the generator?
2 hours free per day, $2.00 per hour after that.

How do I pay for the rental?
credit card, debt card, cash, gold...what else you got!

Can I tow my car or boat behind the motorhome?
If you have an approved tow bar or dolly

What if the motorhome breaks down?
Call us and we get service on the way......PRONTO!

Is there a ladder so we can get on the roof to watch the race?
No,  The ladder is for authorized service personnel to work on unit.

Are there bike racks?
Yes for a nominal fee

Are there leveling jacks on the RV?
yes, most units do.
